O.K. so I’ve totally procrastinated on writing this and I’m trying to figure out what brilliant insights I would give you this month. I could talk about the market conditions. Let’s discuss that for a minute. No, let’s not. Most of you know what’s going on… the media has done a great job spreading the wonderful news. You have all the facts that you need to know. Just realize that the media puts on a very negative spin to the state of the economy and the marketplace. Opportunity exists for some great deals! For me, this year has been a great year. If nothing else, it has helped me focus on what I want to do with my business and my life. My sole purpose in every aspect is to make a difference in someone’s life. So realize that is a pretty broad statement but it is a statement that I’m committed to. Regardless, if you buy or sell real estate, I hope that I may aid in making your life better. Maybe it’s a referral to a great product or service. Maybe it’s helping you enhance your bottom line. Maybe it’s just being someone who listens. I’m really not trying to get on a soap box right now, but want you to know that I’m truly out for your best interests. Since my business primarily relies on referrals, I do whatever it takes to get the job done or at least try to! :) Here’s what’s new in my world:1) I’m one of the core members of the LEED program. In a nutshell, the LEED program is a standard rating system for new homes and existing homes and is part of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The term “GREEN” is becoming a big deal and has been something I’ve been studying for the last couple of years.2) Some of you have received your first ever Market Snapshot or Neighborhood Overview. I think this a great tool for you to watch the market in your area. For a more accurate market analysis on your home… just remember other factors need to be considered and it’s meant to be an SNAPSHOT, not an actual CMA (Comparative Market Analysis).3) “Homeowners Go Green to Save Some Green” is the opening article of the e-newsletter for this month. Last month’s newsletter was, “How to Bid Low on a Home without Offending a Seller.” Great articles, recipes, and other information. If you’re not on the email list, you need to be!Be sure to watch my blog for special offers and great articles on real estate trends. After a period of trying to catch up, it will be full of the latest information and updated 2-3 times per week.
